Pinemeadow Command Q4 Titanium Driver as alternative to the TaylorMade R7 Driver

Manufacturer: Pinemeadow Golf

Model: Command Q4 Titanium Driver

Compares to: TaylorMade® R7 Driver

Manufacturer's Description Details: An updated version of the hottest driver Pinemeadow has ever offered has arrived! New designed and technologies will improve distance and control. The Command Q4 by Pinemeadow Golf is the benchmark in titanium driver technologies. The moveable tungsten and aluminum weights create customizable launch angles and ball flight options. Six weight configurations give you total control of your game.

The driver includes two (2) six gram tungsten weights and two (2) two gram aluminum weights preinstalled. The position of the weights in the club head determine ball trajectory (see graphic below).

Our Review: A large 400cc clubhead produces a very high MOI for forgiving as well as straight and long results on off-center hits. The movable weights offer a variety of six sets of launch conditions which allows you to truly adapt this club to your personal style. It will take a round or two to figure out the best setting for you, but once you get the hang of how to adjust the weights to fit your style you wonder how you ever made it without.

Likes: The set alignment of a slightly closed clubface alignment is nice as it promotes increased confidence and accuracy.

Dislikes: Couldn't find anything we didn't like.

"Recieved my driver yesterday, it took a week but let me tell you, it was worth the wait. I adjusted the weights to help compensate for my slight slice that I have developed since a back problem has changed my swing. I take a slow backswing, with not a "killer" swing through, and "ping", first shot went 200 with the roll. Ten balls later, I am hitting 225 to 250 in the air and STRAIGHT. With my limited swing I can sure live with this distance without having to strain my back. Great club, now time for me to pick out some new Irons from you too."

"I just got this club but I love it! A huge difference over my old steel head, steel shaft driver. I hit some nice drives and a friend absolutely crushed 3 or 4 drives with this. I also bought the 3 wood which played really weel too. Very happy with Pinemeadow."
