Pinemeadow Command Q2 455cc Ti Driver
as alternative to the Taylor Made® R5 Driver

Manufacturer: Pinemeadow Golf
Model:
Command Q4 Titanium Driver
Compares to: TaylorMade® R5 Driver
Manufacturer's Description Details: The newest Command model has arrived! The Command Q2 Titanium 455cc driver by Pinemeadow Golf is big and powerful. The design maximizes the massive clubface resulting in fewer miss hits and longer drives.
The dual tungsten weights in the back of the club head create customizable ball flight options. The driver includes (2) six-gram tungsten weights pre-installed. The weights in the back of the club head will determine ball trajectory. If the weights are replaced with (2) two-gram aluminum weights it will lower the ball flight of your drives.
Our Review: The Command Q2 has rather large clubhead (455cc) and large face to provide an expanded hitting area, giving the driver a somewhat monsterous look at address. It clearly helps to promotes confidence, and allows for solid contact and consistently straighter shots. This is assisted by the two adjustable weights which ensure a higher MOI which promotes proper clubhead rotation for a square clubface at impact. This increases forgiveness and helps with a neutral, accurate ball flight by creating high, long-carrying trajectory.
Likes: Classically shaped clubhead, very appealing to players that prefer a square look at address.
Dislikes: Only come in 10.5 degrees loft (which is probably ok for most players)

Reader's feedback and comments
"Actually got my driver from the UPS guy while on the way to the course...didn't have time to adjust the weights that are preset at the factory so I used it "as is" from the box......didn't miss a fairway and added length even with the "high trajectory" settings...can't wait to see the results after making the adjustment for "low trajectory flight".......club looks and feels great.....thanks !"

"I recently purchased the Q2 and have used it twice on the course with great results. Up until now, I had a terrible slice but with this club, I'm hitting them farther and straighter. The second time out, I had noticed a slight rattling sound inside the head when I tapped the shaft lightly. After I arrived home, I tightened the weights with the tool that came with the club and the noise disappeared. I haven't picked up the Taylor Made R5 to do a comparison but would be interested in finding out if someone else has."
